Please stay out of Wi Parata Reserve in Waikanae for your own safety!

We’ve closed the reserve due to a risk that overhanging plant clumps (astelias or ephiphytes) may fall on to the tracks. We’ve put barriers and signs up at each entrance, but it’s not possible to completely fence off the reserve so we’re urging people to please be sensible and steer clear.
