“He Kākano, Seed, by Raumati South Primary School students. This is the sixth Mahara–Ngā Manu children’s art and environment project.

“The Halo Project – Ngā Manu by Paul Forrest, Artist in Residence at Mahara Gallery and Ngā Manu Nature Reserve. Paul Forrest will give a short artist’s floortalk on Wednesday 9 August at 11 am in the gallery, and is available for school visits, talk and activities. He also has an art installation in the forest walkway at Ngā Manu Nature Reserve.

“Flight of Pollen – illustrations by wildlife painter Cushla McGaughey [example above] for the new environmental board-game designed by JiL Hemming. The game will be launched on Saturday 2 September at 11 am, all welcome, entry free.

“We are grateful for the generous support of the Philipp Family Foundation.”
