With all the new houses being built around Waikanae, it’s timely to remind contractors that construction sites are prime targets for thieves.  As we have learned ourselves, other workmen are usually directly or indirectly involved.

The best answer is not to leave anything portable at these sites unattended, but if that is necessary, maybe some LED spotlights at night would be a good idea.  Thieves don’t like bright exposed areas.
