At least it should be 90 years from now. 🙂

What will Kapiti be like then?  The population will be much greater than it is now; all Kapiti’s farmland will be gone, housing will be growing upwards not outwards, Asians and Asian culture will be dominant, fossil fuels will be gone and technology will be far more sophisticated — both for good and for bad.

But for today’s politicians, it’s a case of who cares? They won’t be around to worry about the long term consequences of their decisions.
