In its latest issue, the Otaki Mail freebie newspaper in its editoral published the statistics applicable to Otaki, before people had finished filling in their census forms:

Clearly, the newspaper thinks all readers in its circulation area (from Te Horo to a bit north of the town) know what ‘wheelies’ are, but that first word? Hmm. It’s typical of what’ll you’ll see in social media, but in a newspaper?
One of our readers says: “regardless of the stupidity of certain persons, it’s totally unprofessional to call them that in a newspaper, reflecting more the paper’s standards.” Precisely.
