This translates to ‘be strong, be courageous, be patient’ and is Alan Tristram’s new motto for his Kapiti Independent News website.
It’s certainly applicable when it comes to dealing with the KCDC and a few other government agencies!
We also note that Alan has started spelling Kapiti with the macron over the a — we won’t be doing that as the Ngātiawa ki Kapiti iwi don’t, and they agree that kāpiti (with the macron) means ‘cabbage’.
Thank you for your tautoko/support. Ngātiawa ki Kapiti Iwi Treaty Claim Hearing currently has no confirmed date for their Waitangi Tribunal Hearing in early 2019. It will be held at Southwards Car Museum, Otaihanga. This Land originally owned by Tuiti-Ōtaraua Hapu of Ngātiawa.
