You are correct that we do not allow 1080 to be dropped on Te Urewera and the lands of Tuhoe, although some 1080 is dropped to the south and south-west of Te Urewera. We are always working to keep 1080 away from our region, because we do not want to poison our homeland. It also means we can produce the purest honey in the country.
