Salt & Wood brisket burger

“It’s hard to beat our brisket burger,” their Facebook page proclaimed.

Intrigued, your editors gave it a go (at least Eva did, Geoffrey tried a pulled pork burger).  She gave the burger (‘boiger’ as it’s pronounced in parts of New York) the thumbs up, although says it’s a bit spicy in case that’s not your preference.

Geoffrey also liked the pulled pork burger.

As those who have been there know, the Salt & Wood at the corner of Ngaio Road and Omahi Street is also a craft brewery and you can fill your own containers with different styles.
