Although Jacinda’s sycophantic Mainstream Media pretended otherwise, the fact is only 169 people came through in 5 hours today for a total of 224 guns, and some of those looked in poor condition. In fact less than 1,400 firearms were registered for ‘buyback’/amnesty in Christchurch, so obviously not many showed today.
One person interviewed on TV One News seemed happy that he was getting more than he paid for his — and intends with his payout (whenever that will be) to buy another gun (what else?). But there are many, many owners contemptuous of the compensation that Jacinda and Stuart Nash’s police bosses decided upon and are not going to comply for that reason. Story on the TV One website
