As readers have probably noticed, we’re fans of the approach that the WOBH blog has taken — a counter to the increasingly shrill, inaccurate and biased Mainstream Media in Godzone — oops, Jacindaland — which, with the exception of Radio NZ, have now all based their business model on competing to be the most government-sycophantic, both at national and local levels.

That doesn’t mean we’ve agreed with everything that WOBH, now The BFD, says as we haven’t, but the blog has the same attitudes towards government: don’t accept pronouncements at face value, challenge agendas when there’s something smelly, analyse what is really going on, and cover things that the MSM won’t.  The post introducing The BFD is here
