The total of 46,2 mm compares with 49 mm last year.  However, it is still well up on the 14.5 mm of 2015 which was an aberrantly dry January.  Three years ago, January 2017 was aberrantly wet with 126 mm of rainfall. It is definitely no evidence of any climate change!
