We’ve often asked in respect of the KCDC’s bloated bureaucracy, “what on earth do all these people do?” But the same question must be asked of the central government. There are some government agencies and departments that need considerable slimming, and in some cases, complete abolition.
The annual cost of all these people has been estimated by the NZ Herald at $21.5 billion.
Of course they can all be counted on to vote Labour.
The kcdc people appear to spend their time making inane road safety adverts. No one knows how much is spent and no-one that I know of appreciates them.
But then the kcdc is always looking for way to waste ratepayers money.
