IT COULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVED WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF THE SPEAKER AND ARDERN. Doubtless these fools would not have objected to pictures of Mau, Stalin, Mugabe or even Pol Pot. I am not sure about Hitler. He might be OK for them too. Castro’s rainbow coloured bastard in Canada would surely be approved. Ardern would like that one specially.
The statue of Mahatma Gandhi outside Wellington Railway station surely cries out for Green Party indignation. His attitude towards ‘kaffirs’ was not very charitable.
