Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that all covid restrictions have come to an end in the State last Wednesday with a video post on social media captioned “There is no place in Florida for covid theater.”
The footage was taken from a panel talk from earlier in the week with Florida Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo and other medical experts advocating ‘closing the curtain’ on covid restrictions (see what he did there?)
“These experts agree – no masking, no mandates and no medical censorship,” DeSantis also noted.
“Over the past two years, the data has shown us what works and what doesn’t work. It is long past time to stop the covid Theater,” DeSantis asserted, adding “In Florida, we told the truth, we let the data drive our response, and we let Floridians make decisions for themselves and their children.”
“As a result, Florida is in a better spot than states who used fear mongering and mandates,” he further urged.
The description “Covid Theatre” is very apt when it comes to Jacinda Ardern’s hand wringing performances on TV. The insincerity is not difficult to discern – it thinly masks her arrogance and selfish ambition. Ardern and her cabinet cronies will wring every drip from the NZ theatre over covid, wasting billions of taxpayer’s dollar while using the smokescreen to drive her ideology into law by undemocratic processes. I have no political party allegiances.
A few heavy punters are now lining up behind De Santis for 2024 Presidential. It is acknowledged that Trump would still have the edge if he ran. And then there are those computerised voting machines which van male Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia, and Arizona flip over with a switch. Go Brandon the man who received 48 million votes from zombies which flipped to 60 plus million.
