The gilets jaunes protests of 2018-2019 and the twin disasters of pandemic over-reaction and immigration are major factors and shouldn’t help Globalist darling Emmanuel Macron’s chances, but according to this poll, Marine Le Pen is significantly behind in second place. The first round of the election takes place on Sunday 10 April; the two highest vote receivers then contest in the second round on Sunday 24 April. If that’s again a contest between Macron and Marine Le Pen, the result should be much closer than it was in 2017.
I wouldn’t trust the company responsible for conducting this poll.
