Some of these people they are tying to lamp posts with cling film have been caught looting. I have seen pictures of them with shopping carts full of stuff leaving smashed store fronts, I have also seen people tied up with signs saying they are looters. I did however hear that Ukrainian troops are seizing Russian owned property.
Apparently Zelensky gave semi automatic rifles to every male 18-60 to go kill Russians, but some used them instead to go door to door conducting armed hold-ups.
Absolutely, or go kill their rivals. I watched a video about the horrific aftermath of civilians trying to take out a Russian armoured personel carrier in Lilac Park. A few weeks previous there was a video of locals making Molotov cocktails in preparation for the Russian arrival in their area. One gentleman said we have a drink ready for Putin whilst holding up a Molotov cocktail.
So what was in the video is a scene showing trees blown in half and with holes punched right through them. A 500mm diameter tree is no match for a 30mm AP round. But the “civilians” I say that in commas because they were wearing Ukraine arm bands, which basically means you are a militia, soldier or mercenary, were hiding behind the trees ready to serve their “drinks” to the Russians. It was not a pretty sight. My Russian friend who sent me it was quite upset about it, but if you are going to fight an APC full of trained soldiers then you better be prepared for what may happen. Zelensky is responsible for the deaths of these people who he should be evacuating, not hiding behind trees, asking them to fight for him.
