In what his lawyers have described as a “brief but significant moment in the case,” a British magistrates’ court has signed off on Julian Assange’s extradition to the United States, bringing the WikiLeaks founder one step closer to a US trial under the Espionage Act which threatens press freedoms worldwide.
The extradition case now goes to UK Home Secretary Priti Patel for approval, which will likely be forthcoming as Patel is a reliably loyal empire manager. After that point, Assange’s legal team will be able to launch an appeal.
This is happening at the same time the United States and the United Kingdom are loudly demanding accountability for alleged war crimes by the Russian military in Ukraine, which is interesting because attempting to bring accountability for war crimes is precisely why Julian Assange is in prison.
“He is a war criminal,” President Biden said of Vladimir Putin following allegations of war crimes in Bucha, Ukraine earlier this month. “I think it is a war crime. … He should be held accountable.”
Waikanae Watch, you champions for sharing the obvious.
The world has been lied to for far too long.
The us-of-a : bombed the living daylights out of, to mention a few – Vietnam, Loas, Cambodia, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Yugoslavia, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya and Afghanistan.
The number of innocent people dead ??? – and the us-of-a thinks and acts as if it is their forgiven right to decimate countries and those people.
No sanctions against america, at all, over all the years. Remember Albright, yes, the “price was worth it, woman”, after 500,000 Iraqi children died under the Clinton regime. What about baby bush’s so called “achievements” under the fraud of a “war on terror”. The list goes on and on; all war crimes by American presidents – Obama included.
What a joke ………… Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize !! Well !!!
Who is applying sanctions against Turkey, following their recent invasion of Iraq ??
Hypocrisy beyond belief.
Goodness ………… when will the world populous wake up, and stand up, and say time up. Enough of the lies, the deceit, the propaganda, and all the b/S ………….. Time for the truth ……… for all.
Perhaps the time will be when the world populace wakes up to the obvious; that the mainstream media are the feeders of the lies by politicians, the banksters, and the big business boys who, make a fortune out of war.

Further to my post above ………………
Twenty-three years ago, on 23 April 1999, a NATO missile attack on Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) headquarters killed 16 employees of the state broadcaster.
The forgotten war crime occurred during the Kosovo War (March 1999-June 1999), and was part of NATO’s aerial campaign alongside the US-backed Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) a paramilitary entity with links to Al Qaeda and organised crime, in opposition to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Tony Blair, Britain’s then Prime Minister, welcomed the killings when speaking at NATO’s 50th anniversary summit in Washington. Blair said the missile attack was “entirely justified… in damaging and attacking all these targets”, and that those murdered were part of the “apparatus of dictatorship and power of [Slobodan] Milosevic”.
Blair felt that, “the responsibility for every single part of this action lies with the man [Milosevic] who has engaged in this policy of ethnic cleansing and must be stopped”. Apparently Milosevic “must be stopped” by wiping out state journalists or what Blair describes as an “apparatus of dictatorship”.

And then, as the proof of hypocrisy – “Hague Tribunal Exonerates Slobodan Milosevic Again” ……………

Wake up, people.
