Tucker Carlson outlines dramatic timeline of political corruption within the Federal Bureau of Investigation

It may sound like hyperbole but it’s not: the FBI has become the Democrats’ secret police. From Sundance at theconservativetreehouse.com: What Tucker Carlson outlined on his broadcast tonight is not a surprise to anyone here; however, it is good to see the direct accusations presented to millions of Americans.  The FBI is a corrupt politically motivated institution from top to bottom […]

EVs and electromagnetic (EMF) emissions

28 Sunday Aug 2022

Posted by Waikanae watchers in Uncategorized

from Eric Peters Autos

There’s an interesting legal action  under way against Nissan by a Georgia man named Josef Tater who claims the Leaf electric car he bought has made him physically ill via its electromagnetic (EMF) emissions. His attorney says that the Leaf emits as much as 31.3 mG (milligauss) of EMF radiation and at least as much as 4.9 mG,  which – according to the lawsuit – is several times the 2 mG level the man’s lawyers say is the maximum safe level.

This number may be derived from the so-called “Swedish Standard,” which refers to a regulation in that country requiring that certain devices that generate EMF radiation, such as video display terminals emit no more than 2 mG within one meter of the operator’s position. If it is true that the Leaf emits even 4.9 mG of EMF radiation, it would tilt (pinball reference) that standard by more than twice.

“On January 25th,” according to the lawsuit, “the plaintiff was hospitalized with inability to hear and speak. Going forward, the plaintiff kept suffering physical and mental symptoms and his marriage fell apart as his wife filed for divorce on April 15th, 2017.”

There is still much debate about the effect of EMF radiation emitted from now-common electronic devices, including smartphones, WiFi and cell phone towers. There are numerous anecdotal stories that dovetail with the claims made by the plaintiff in the Leaf case about various ill effects claimed to result from exposure to excessive EMF emissions. These include heart palpitations, fatigue, breathing difficulties and “brain fog,” among other things.

It seems not-improbable that EMF in excessive amounts might have such effects, given the human body runs on electrical signals. It might be worth knowing about.

The problem is no one seems to know exactly what constitutes “excessive.” Well, no government agency has posited any specifics, much less regulations. Or expressed much interest in knowing.

Or rather, telling.

If you cruise over to the Environmental Protection Agency’s EMF information page, you will find that there “are no U.S. Federal standards limiting residential or occupational exposure to electric and magnetic fields . . . ” The EPA refers to power lines but the relevant thing is there’s no EMF standard for cars, either.

Yet modern cars emit – and receive – lots of EMF emissions. Not just electric cars, either. Almost all new cars have WiFi, keyless locks and ignition. Some can “stream” media content through wireless devices/entertainment systems and almost all are now “connected” cars that transmit and receive data/software updates wirelessly.

This means she supports the Jacinda government and vice versa. We will have more to say about her later in the campaign.

When Billionaires and the government work together to Control Information

by Caitlin Johnstone

Facebook restricted visibility of the New York Post’s Hunter Biden laptop story in the lead-up to the 2020 election after receiving counsel from the FBI, according to Facebook/Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

“So we took a different path than Twitter,” Zuckerberg said during a Thursday appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. “Basically the background here is the FBI, I think basically came to us — some folks on our team and was like, ‘Hey, um, just so you know, like, you should be on high alert. There was the — we thought that there was a lot of Russian propaganda in the 2016 election. We have it on notice that basically there’s about to be some kind of dump of — that’s similar to that. So just be vigilant.’”

Zuckerberg said a decision was made to restrict that information on Facebook’s multibillion-user platform. He said that unlike Twitter, which banned the sharing of the article entirely, Facebook opted for the somewhat subtler option of censorship by algorithm.

“The distribution on Facebook was decreased,” he said, adding when pressed by Rogan that the decreased visibility of the article happened to a “meaningful” extent.

As we’ve discussed previously, censorship by algorithm is becoming the preferred censorship method on large Silicon Valley platforms because it can be done to far more people with far less objection than outright de-platforming and bans.

In addition to being censored across social media platforms, the Hunter Biden laptop story was first ignored and dismissed by the mainstream news media, then spun as a Russian disinfo operation. Those media outlets eventually came around to admitting that the leaked emails were probably authentic, and Hunter Biden tacitly authenticated them himself when he acknowledged that the information “could” have come from his laptop. Nothing that came from that laptop was anywhere near as scandalous as the unified front presented by the news media and Silicon Valley in reducing the political impact of an October surprise before a presidential election.

And now we know that the reason the world’s largest social media platform censored that particular story was because they were cautioned by the FBI against allowing such information to circulate. How many of those other institutions suppressed that news story because they were told to by the FBI or other government agencies? How often are US government agencies involving themselves in the act of censorship? What other information is being suppressed in this or similar ways? What other information will be suppressed in the future?

Because of the veils of government and corporate secrecy which obscure our view of the behaviors of power, we don’t get to have answers to these questions. All we get to have is what oligarchs like Mark Zuckerberg choose to tell us, in whatever way and to whatever extent they choose to tell us about them.

But even what we’ve been told is pretty ugly. A government agency and a social media platform of unprecedented influence teaming up together to silence impactful political speech is censorship by any sane definition. Mainstream liberals can come up with all kinds of arguments for why the continually expanding justifications for online censorship are fine and normal and not really censorship, but are they able to maintain those justifications when government agencies are actively involved? Is it really better when political speech is being censored by a collaboration of government operatives and billionaires than censored directly by the government alone?

Macron gone nuts — announces 2.5 billion Euros to pay for the delivery of armaments to Zelensky

And this is after he said he wants to send French troops into the killing fields of Ukraine, where hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers have been dying literally by the day, a war that has nothing to do with France. That hasn’t gone down too well, either.

And in yet another ominous warning in what must have been coordinated messaging, on Wednesday he went even further  – warning at his first cabinet meeting after the summer holidays that the French should expect to make deep sacrifices in what he called the “end of abundance.”

Speaking before ministers at the Élysée, Macron said that the country was at a “tipping point” as it faced a difficult winter and a new era of instability due to climate change and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, according to The Guardian.

“What we are currently living through is a kind of major tipping point or a great upheaval … we are living the end of what could have seemed an era of abundance … the end of the abundance of products of technologies that seemed always available … the end of the abundance of land and materials including water,” he said, adding that France and the French felt that they’ve been living under a series of crises, “each worse than the last.”

a good candidate for Mayor of Wellington: Barbara McKenzie

27 Saturday Aug 2022

by Geoffrey Churchman

Although a resident of Khandallah, Barbara McKenzie is one of our regular readers and she has attracted the attention of the Stuffers who are obsessed with portraying any local council candidate opposed to the Jacinda government’s coerced vaxxing with Pfizer’s useless and dangerous substance as an insurrectionist right winger, as can be seen from the clipping below. Barbara also hates the face-nappies which are sadly ubiquitous in Wellington, much more than in Kapiti. While the Stuffers don’t give a stuff about local issues in Wellington any more than they do in Kapiti, they are zealots for the Jacinda government’s extremist agenda.

When we met for lunch at Café du Parc she turned up on a bicycle, but told me she’s opposed to the WCC’s obsession with installing cycle lanes everywhere around the city including on streets that aren’t suited to them. That’s another black mark on the Stuffers’ score card for candidates, but it’s being opposed to racial separatism including separate Maori wards that really gets the Stuffers’ dander up. They, like the rest of Jacindaland’s Mainstream Media, got Taxpayer money in return for supporting the Jacinda regime’s racial agenda including the revision and complete distortion of the 1840 Treaty of Waitangi.

As it happens, she has actually been a longtime Labour voter and voted for them in 2017 (she didn’t in 2020, of course.) I jokingly suggested that the red jacket she was wearing might soften the Stuffers’ vitriol towards her. 🙂

Kapiti has its financial problems after years of wanton recklessness by Council bosses Dougherty and Maxwell as well as Mayors Rowan, Church and the outgoing one, but in Wellington it’s no better. While Waikanae has a problem with its library, Wellington has a much bigger and more costly one with the main one in Civic Square opened in 1990.

Then there are the notions by existing Wellington councilors of making the entire central city car-free, at goodness knows what cost.

The appropriation of private property through the Significant Natural Areas policy is a hot topic and one she is completely opposed to.

One thing that’s particularly apparent is that becoming mayor will mean presiding over a council composed mostly of Hard Leftists as can seen in the articles on her blog linked below. Nevertheless she impressed me as having the capability to handle them. When we discussed our overseas travel, as you often do when meeting people, she told me that in 2019 she did a solo tourist trip through Iran. While it’s a land ruled by the mad mullahs, the ordinary people aren’t so fanatical. The religious police demand women wear head scarves, but they’re not as encompassing as hijabs, and outside the public gaze, some people don’t care about them. One hotel concierge told her “Don’t worry about that f–ing bullshit here.”

So to our Wellington readers — vote Barbara McKenzie!
