In defense of Don McDonald: he is anti-growth, whereas other candidates accept or actively promote it. Even the Greens, so there are contradictions there. Of course they want growth to facilitate the move to a high density city. Ideology trumps all.
Don wants to half the population (he also believes all that climate stuff). I myself would go for sustainability.
If Don McDonald supports depopulation then he ought to lead by example.
Reading what he had to say we may be better off without him.
