Such people need to be named and shamed.
Those bandit masks purposefully hinder identification and there is no number ID which they are required to show, but naming this miscreant should still be possible.
Members of the government’s police department can not be allowed to think they can gratuitously beat up members of the public with impunity. It sends the message that violence is OK, completely undermining extensive messages about domestic assaults in the past.
And of course, it says to gangs and other brawlers, “good for you, we do that too.”
This thuggish behaviour has to be combatted.
Along with the ‘rogues gallery’, it is also time that these rogue violent brutes within the Police get reeled in; that process of reeling-in has to start at the top – with cuddly-coster.
Unfortunately ‘cuddles’ is a bit of a marshmallow man. So, fire him and appoint a new Commissioner of Police who has honour, standing and empathy for the people of NEW ZEALAND.
It is absolutely time to name and shame this person, plus others who use the guise of being upholders of the law, but instead denigrate our laws and legal system with their blatant disregard for thus. To openly contravene our laws with impunity, shows the people clearly that we must force the compliance of people holding positions as NZ Police, into accountability for knowingly perpetrating unlawfull actions
The 4 or 8 chan crowd can probably rat him out like they did with the bike lock professor in California, or he might get some pushback from a Mobster.
