Empty drink bottles and cans exacerbated some of the flash flooding we experienced throughout our district earlier this month.

Unfortunately, they’re the perfect size and weight to travel through our grates, become stuck and clog up sumps.

We’re out and about proactively maintaining more than 210 km of stormwater pipes and a vast network of open channels and streams across the district but we need your help to keep things flowing.
