Late last month Mana Wahine Korero confirmed she had suffered a fractured skull and was being cared for by loved ones.
Funds raised will be used for rehabilitation and living expenses, as explained on the Givealittle page.

I would of thought someone would have identified them by now, but I do recall a Gisborne paper running interference about them.
