The first big self-declaration as to Her true nature was after the mosque massacres by visiting Australian, Brenton Tarrant in March 2019. She seized upon that incident as an excuse to go after political opponents of the Leftists by persecuting anyone who owned a gun of the types that Brenton Tarrant used, but more than that, anyone in a group whose ideology was opposed to Her communism.
Rather ironically, David Seymour owes his present status as Deputy PM to Her as he was the sole MP to vote against Her gun grab, and as a result ACT gained a lot of votes, mostly at National’s expense, in the 2020 general election. The growth in ACT support continued and in 2023 David was joined by 10 fellow ACT MPs.
In March this year I listened to a talk given in Waikanae by two libertarians who now live in Central Hawkes Bay and who like many others, viewed with both alarm and anger the ever more dictatorial nature of the Far Left autocratic government that was being imposed on NZers from 2020-2023, under the excuse of the WHO’s Covidiocy.
Kim Phelps and Barry Williams are both ex-cops, Kim in Canada where he was in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and Barry in Auckland. This training and knowledge came in handy when it came to dealing with raids by the Coster Mob to persecute them. One of the most important factors was how to deal with Jacinda regime paid infiltrators in the local libertarian groups, including recognising them in the first place.
Barry served in the police in the 1980s and was involved in the infamous Springbok tour as well as being on the line in the Queen Street riot in 1984. Since 2000 Barry has been involved in technology companies in NZ, Australia and the UK.
Barry and Kim spoke about the Rebuild Free initiative in Hawkes Bay which, along with a bunch of like-minded individuals, built a supply network almost like the Resistance in Nazi-occupied Europe during World War 2. I know that creating a parallel economy and society was also being discussed in Kapiti and if the Far-Left Labour regime had not been replaced by the present government in 2023 would probably have happened,

Regarding paralell societies, there were / are small groups setup all over the country during those years. I’m not sure it’s time to fold the tent just yet because NZ’s buearcracy is still roughly in lockstep with the WHO, and the WEF among others.

Agree with your comments, but cut Seymour some slack re the covid scam. For any politician with any self survival ambitions, to swim against that tide of bullshit, at the time they had to go along with things. THEY WERE ALL THE SAME. But, I fear the majority of the population have learned nothink, as ja would say. imho, and I’ve said this for a verty long time, one of the most evil, insidious bullshitters that has ever been in power globally. Schwab will die soon, although he no doubt doesn’t believe this, and the UN driven rackets Trump will badly dent, if not break.
Seymour strikes me as our only long term hope to return this country back to being Kiwi again. We had a great, model country with creative, tolerant, liberal attitudes to life in general, with a heallthy disrespect for authoriy. All almost gone, replaced by a total destruction of trust in any institution. ardern succeeded in spades in this area.
luxon has been a disappointing disaster imho, in lockstep with the kings new clothes global climate change racket etc, and he hasn’t even got the guts/class to allow dissenting opinions within his own party. A confident, competent leader encourages this, for the greater good.
