Just three months after re-opening, the recent over-abundance of “Dougherty’s precious water” has caused another slip on Ōtaki Gorge Road just past Blue Bluff.

Ōtaki Gorge Road at Blue Bluff had been closed for five years following two slips until completion of works in July this year.
