The United States is watching with horror what is happening on the European continent. While the politcal elite in Brussels and Berlin continues to have open floodgates and censors critical citizens, the US under the leadership of the Trump administration has pulled the gates shut. Rubio’s message is crystal clear: Europe is erasing its own civilization. And if Europe throw its culture, history, and values into the trash, why should America still defend it?
During a press conference in Washington on Friday, Rubio went even further. He defended the stark conclusions of the White House National Security Strategy, which states in black and white that Europe faces “civilizational erasure” if it continues with the Globalist policies of mass immigration and the attacks on fundamental freedoms such as freedom of speech. It is the hard truth that few in Western Europe dare to state, but which sounds loud and clear from Washington.
Rubio addressed the insane import of millions of people from non-Western cultures. He specifically cited the recent Islamic terrorist attack during a Hanukkah celebration in Australia as an example of the dangers. “Mass immigration over the past decade has been very disruptive, not only for the US but also for continental Europe,” Rubio said.
He made an important distinction between normal immigration and “mass immigration,” which he called a “negative thing.” It is extremely difficult for any society to absorb hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of people in a short period of time, especially if they come from other parts of the world.
Finally, Rubio gave a lesson in constitutional law to the open-borders fetishists. “As a sovereign country, you have the right to control how many people you take in, how many people you let in, and who those people are. This is a very fundamental sovereign right,” he stated. In Eastern and Southern Europe, they understand this much better and are open about the dangers, Rubio noted.
