The hypocrisy of the so-called ‘tolerant’ left-wing elite truly knows no bounds. As soon as the sacred climate religion is corrected by even a millimeter of factual accuracy, the do-gooders immediately pull out their pitchforks. The latest victim of this dangerous cult is none other than Maarten Keulemans, a science journalist at the usually extremely politically correct Volkskrant. His unforgivable crime? He shared the sober news that the IPCC climate panel is expected to revise its baseline scenarios. The reaction on the Leftist echo chamber platform BlueSky is downright chilling: a coordinated witch hunt full of intimidation, attempts at livelihood theft, and morbid fantasies of violence.
The cesspool named BlueSky
For those who didn’t know yet: BlueSky is the digital safe haven to which the elite supporters of ‘Progressive’ Netherlands (PRO) and D66 have fled. They could no longer tolerate freedom of speech on X, because there they were occasionally confronted with the harsh reality of the street.
In their own closed bubble, these climate fanatics are now radicalizing each other daily. They fancy themselves the morally superior saviors of the planet, but as soon as the facts contradict their doomsday scenarios, they transform into a ruthless, fascist-oid mob.
Keulemans observes this himself with horror: “Fantasies of violence, calls for my dismissal, portraying me as ‘dangerous’.” This is exactly what is happening in the circles of the Left/Green elite.
As we know, they’re like that in NZ too, maybe not quite so bellicose. —Eds
