There are around 200,000 mullahs in Iran—and they all want to control the minds of 90 million citizens. After the Shah was deposed, they’ve had nearly 50 years to accomplish just that. They’ve convinced most of those citizens not by logic, reason, or even religious inspiration, but rather by the threat of violent force. It’s not likely Trump will accept conditions that allow Iran to keep enriched uranium for a nuclear bomb. Iran’s leaders have repeatedly shouted “Death To America!” and “Death To Israel!” for years. The religious fanatics that run Iran should be taken at their word. Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons material, nor can the president allow the war to drag on indefinitely.Will peace come to the Middle East?
