After a recent visit to the capital of Zelenskyland, he wrote a piece for the Leftist-Globalist Washington Post about his observations in the heart of Nato’s battering ram against the BRICS economic bloc, particularly Russia. (Incidentially, Leftists are probably unaware that Google, like Microsoft is a strong supporter of Isreal — Eric Schmidt has a long history of supporting and investing in Israel’s high-tech sector, and he has accepted advisory roles with the Israeli government.)

“One night this summer, as my colleagues and I traveled by train from eastern Ukraine to Kyiv, we received warnings that dozens of Russian ballistic missiles were inbound. We pulled into Kyiv and joined the crowds rushing to the underground shelters. Within minutes, multiple explosions roared nearby as the missiles rained down, shaking the train station we were hiding in. Hundreds of passengers were crammed in there with us, many of them families with children, all waiting for the Russian onslaught to cease.

“I have traveled to Ukraine throughout its long war with Russia, helping the Ukrainian military develop cutting-edge battlefield technologies. But I came away from this most recent trip more worried than at any time since the earliest days of the invasion.

“Russia is getting much better at waging this conflict, and Washington needs to recognize that it is moving toward a strategy of total war, mobilizing its factories and manpower to bombard Ukraine into submission. Defeating Russia now requires more than the transfer of weapons. Ukraine will need the West to marshal its collective resources on a scale sufficient to outproduce and outlast its enemy.”

One might think that Nato members have already marshalled their collective resources to do that and have fallen short. Like the rest of his Nato cohorts, Schmidt has made many ill-founded assumptions about their technical prowess and efficiency versus that of Russia.

“Ukraine’s great advantage was its ability to adapt and innovate. Russia had more soldiers, more money and a far larger industrial base, but creative Ukrainian engineers could develop a new weapon or system, test it on the front line and modify it within weeks. Its decentralized networks of soldiers, engineers and defense tech companies iterated faster than Russia’s lumbering military bureaucracy could keep up.”

This has been shown many times to be entirely wrong, for one thing Mr Schmidt and his croneys fail to take into account 1. Ukraine’s ever dominating brutal autocracy; 2. Its massive internal corruption. A lot of people there either hate the regime or if they don’t, it is because they are pigs feeding at the trough that Nato has kept replenished. That is not a condusive environment for what Mr Schmidt thinks could/should exist.

Mr Schmidt himself has contributed a lot to Nato’s technological developments in its wars, but Ukraine’s corrupt autocrats have not. Mr Schmidt also seems to oblivious to the fact that communism in Russia ended in 1991 and since has steadily developed a formidable high-tech economy, ironically helped by Nato’s sanctions.

How much has this crazy pointless war cost the Nato bloc? We do have some measure from the total amount of donations that the various members have made to Ukraine since February 2022 but we don’t know how much Nato spent on its war between 2014 with the CIA/MI6’s coup d’état and 2022 — how much did the terrorist organisation spent on building up weaponary including biological weapons labs there?
