A reader sent us this link, and although not Waikanae it is too cute not to share. It was taken at The Cove, on the Otago Peninsula, last Sunday, just before it began to snow and shows a flock of about 21 fantails (piwakawaka) huddled together on an electrical cord. (Thanks, Cliff)
