Of COURSE these articles are written by spin staff ( usually called “Communications” or “Comms” or similar euphemism) who are paid handsome salaries and contract fees ( ie charge $$$ by the hour) to write this silly stuff. All paid for out of the Ratepayers Purse! Does the KCDC honestly think in this day and age that readers are so naive? We all have a jolly good laugh each week at the new lot of spin which emanates from Council spinmeisters published by the local papers who are also handsomely paid for the column space! They could save us and themselves a lot of money if they just stopped paying for this drivel and spent the money on infrastructure and essential services. But the spin is also designed to get them re-elected. We are under no illusions KCDC!
