“Wasn’t there a garden trail in January?” you ask. Yes, but it seems that Lions think that Waikanae gardens are at their best in Spring.

Again there are 13 gardens, but with some changes to the ones in January (this time all are west of the railway line).  They will be open to visit between 10 am and 5 pm both days. There are also 3 guest speakers on garden design who will be at the Waikanae Bowling Club at 11 am and 2 pm each day.  The price of an entrance ticket is $20 which goes to the Malaghan Institute research charity.
