In the days before everyone had a car, a basket on the bicycle was standard. This one appears to have been used by the Taylorville BP station, presumably the one about 10 km east of Greymouth — for pick/ups deliveries of car parts?
On the wall is a big map of the ‘Ewy’ for which it has been announced 14 km of resurfacing is required after only being open 7 months. The government should be asking for explanations. (Sue Lusk pic)
