Lisa is another delightful artist we met during the Arts Trail who with her husband live in a rented house on the beach side of Tutere Street, the front yard of which looks like it would benefit from a visit by HGTV’s ‘Yard Rescue’ show, but the house has a nice stone threshold.

Lisa is from Denver, Colorado, a city and state we know well, and we share a love of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, as in the John Denver song. 🙂

She also loves the view from her upstairs studio in Waikanae Beach: “the mountains on one side and the beach on the other side.”

Lisa describes herself as a textile artist: “I make paintings with fabric.”
