Or at least they are all going Wednesday into the offices of executive recruitment firm JacksonStone & Partners in Hunter Street, Wellington, to look at the short list of candidates that firm has come up with.
Although Mr Maxwell’s term officially expires this Thursday, he has for all intents and purposes been gone several weeks if not most of the time since his heart attack last December. We sent an official information request to the Council about this, but all Maxwell’s in-house lawyer Mr Power would respond is that the Council did not keep records on his attendance at the HQ, and by implication Mr Maxwell was making no statement on that. Reading between the lines, that says that he has not been seen for most of this year, but of course he has still been collecting his $6,000 a week salary courtesy of Ratepayers.
typical bloody greedy Council looking after their mates It’s bloody easy when ratepayers are footing the bill … Another bloody disgraceful decision

The council’s executive management and their A List councilors don’t care how much is squandered by them on consultants and outside lawyers. It’s not their money. The B list do which is why we need to make them the majority in October.
