Yesterday I switched on the TV and went to the YouTube channel. I was most surprised to view an ad from ACC about a young man in Auckland who.,while playing indoor soccer, suffered a major heart attack. He survived the attack thanks to the presence of an AED fibulator at the venue.

The purpose of the ad was to stress the importance of sports administrators awareness of the need to have an AED device at all sports venues, and to have people trained in the use of the device.

What the ad did not disclose was why the young man suffered the heart attack.  Neither did the ad disclose that ACC does not cover heart attacks as a matter of course.

By the way, I saw another ACC ad — the reference to the second one was http://www.Youtu.be/OTNln_3MdTE but when I tried this site reference I received the message “this site is no longer available.”
