Epic in terms of its length: the main Agenda is 473 pages and the Appendices is a 1,338 page document — a total of 1,811 pages! How many Councilors are going to read it all thoroughly?
Much of it is to do with the silly consideration of arbitrary speed limit reductions throughout the district. Other items include: Adoption of new Code of Conduct; the Waikanae Library and Service Centre; Easter Sunday Trading; Audit Proposal for 2023-2025; Selecting the council Electoral System for 2025; Reports from Standing Committees and Community Boards; Wellington Regional Leadership Committee update and Terms of Reference.

suppose there is nothing in the 1811 pages recommending the saving of money and the reduction in council rates?
The speed reductions will be interesting as thd signs have already gone up by the schools.,Actually I’m not against speeds dropped around schools . What I am against is that we are supposed to be fools and not able to think for ourselves. Personal responsibility has gone out thd window. No wonder people just do what they are told with no thought!
