Absolutely, and now they’re coming for your land. I received a flyer in my letterbox yesterday from Kapiti Calm who have a facebook page and the flyer states that:
If you live between the beach and 2km inland, you are captured in ‘Coastal Adaption Areas’ (CAA) which is not just beachfront but also flooding and waterway areas.
There is a meeting this coming Saturday at 5pm at a house down Manly Street – I spotted the poster in the fish and chip shop.
