We’re told the Waikanae Community Board wasn’t consulted either — what is the point of having a Community Board if they are not going to be consulted over matters affecting the people?
KCDC having incorporated a debt of $170million on behalf of the ratepayers eg $1.3million given to Air Chathams etc
Is it imperative to have new Library at Waikanae at this point should KCDC borrow more $ for a nice to have or put the library on hold until it’s affordable?
The problem is it will never be more affordable.
