Despite the massive hostility of the Leftist Legacy Media towards it, the conservative-libertarian Alternative für Deutschland has jumped to a commanding lead over Herr Merz’s CDU, taking 44% of the vote to the CDU’s 18%. It is a clear rejection of Globalism, Climatism, Deindustrialisation, Mass Immigration from the Third World and, of course, the Führer’s plans for War with Russia in 2030.

In terms of seats, AfD gets 39 of the 83 in the state parliament and thus needs another 3 supporters there for a majority.

The small BSW is the only party that has openly expressed its support for the AfD. BSW lead candidate Thomas Schulze emphasized that he is ready for talks with the AfD. “We have said we will talk to all parties. That includes the AfD.”

There are many commonalities. “We already have several areas of agreement, especially regarding the Russia issue, where we both oppose these sanctions that are virtually ruining our economy.” Like the AfD, the BSW also wants “affordable energy”—even if the influence of a state government on this is rather limited. Differences exist, however, on the topics of education and the economy. Whether the BSW would also elect AfD member Siegmund as Minister-President is unclear.

Sachsen-Anhalt is a small province of only about 2 million people, but the impact of this result will have not just the Reichsführer, but also the EU’s autocrats worried. In 2 weeks another two German provinces have elections.
