This latest KCDC price hike has upset people: – “As part of Council’s Annual Plan 2026/27, the volumetric water supply rate was increased from $1.72 to $2.27 incl. GST per cubic metre. This new rate will be reflected in the November invoice.”

When the Mayor Rowan & Dougherty water meters were introduced it was just over $1 per cubic metre.

What was the latest inflation rate? 4.1%

How can KCDC justify this? It can’t. Just another money grab from long suffering Ratepayers.
