We noticed this vacant lot for sale; 927 square metres with a rateable value of $700,000, which is about 3 times what a similar sized section further back in the town would have.  It may sell for more than this.

Being at the beachfront is high house exterior maintenance territory, with sand and salt spray, though.  There are a lot of garden plants that won’t like the salty atmosphere, too.
