This pamphlet gives the reasons why a proper-sized gallery in Waikanae is needed so the collection can be displayed.

This has been advocated by the Waikanae Community Board since 2006 — yes, that was 11 years ago!  If even only a small part of the ratepayers’ money that has been spent on salaries for the ever-growing Dougherty Empire (which hopefully will now be reduced in size) had been allocated to this project instead, it would have been built by now!
