Polls close at 7 pm tomorrow.

You may think choosing a party to vote for is like choosing a bank, and the slogans tend to be similar (one which stuck in our memories was Wir sind auf deiner Seite or ‘We are on your side’ by Commerz Bank in Germany.  Oh yeah?)

But apathy tells the politicians and top bureaucrats that you don’t care what the next government does — and that encourages them to think that they can do what they like. People in Kapiti have experienced 9 years of autocratic rule by the council boss — and it’s not good.
