Whether the Saudi Crown Prince himself was involved is beside the point; the point is that this country is a brutal dictatorship that has no qualms about getting rid of its opponents.  Nothing unusual about that; there are several others in the world, but there’s an obvious double standard involved on the part of Western Allies including NZ: why are allegations about the Kremlin enthusiastically trumpeted, while those involving the Saudi Arabian regime downplayed?  Do oil and and a customer for huge armaments sales explain the difference?
