The New Zealand Prime Minister’s Facebook page is still reeling from a public relations nightmare, after a post that encouraged the public to talk about vaccine side effects exploded.

On Saturday 25 September the NZ testimonials facebook page, which allowed members to report vaccine injuries directly and had over 17,000 members, was shut down. The following day, Jacinda Ardern addressed the elephant in the room on her Facebook page about the growing narrative of vaccine hesistancy, spurred by people sharing stories of the negative side effects of the vaccine including myocarditis, shingles, blood clots, heart attacks, seizures and death.

Unlike media, such as TV, print and online, social media is a two way communication and operating it gives a demographic of people who have had a negative perception of you or your company access to your entire audience.

The Prime Minister told her own story of her post Cv vax experience stating she just had a sore arm and felt weary following it. A meme attached stated ‘Lets talk about side effects’ which in hindsight seems like perhaps it was a rhetorical question as what followed was over 19,800 comments, many of which were deleted by her admininstration team. Ardern’s Facebook posts typically attract between 2-3,000 comments.

One contributor who pulled an all nighter [sat up watching the comments all night —Eds] stated “New Zealanders essentially took down the government over it. Whilst she may have had Aucklanders in lockdown for two months, bankrupted businesses with her behaviour and now discriminated against people who are unvaxxed from attending events, I don’t think any indoor concert or game could have rivalled a ring side seat at last nights event. I ran out of popcorn.”

A bedraggled Prime Minister appeared on this morning’s AM show but nothing was asked of her regarding the matter nor has any mainstream media covered the issue.

Scathing comments made on Jacinda Arderns facebook page included:

“How do you like the team of 5 million now Cindy?”

“Welcome to Nuremberg 2021”

“Six hangings in Pukekohe and one in Tuakau”

“80% of NZ’ers vaccinated but only 284,000 followers on the Unite against Covid 19 page – yeah right”

“Graphene oxide is in that vaccine and PCR tests (whether nasal or oral) and it will compromise your immune system”

“Her true agenda is no longer hidden it’s mass genocide”

“Where are all the deleted comments from side effect sufferers and their families who have been killed by the shots?? How dare you casually delete their stories. Their blood is on your hands.”

“I am a registered emergency nurse…we are always told to research, analyse and never write any academic paper with only one source, And this is exactly what you are doing.”

“How do you sleep at night? You know people are dying, children are dying? You offered one family $100K to keep their mouths shut.”

In several facebook groups including The NZ Health Forum discussions have been had as to whether the post was intended to weed out people who were standing against the governments narrative.

Since the event a facebook page titled ‘Deleted comments from PM’s post’ has been established [this may go the same way —Eds]

The most recent comment on Ardern’s facebook page addresses the new elephant in the room “Why aren’t mainstream media covering this when there is obviously so much public concern and harm resulting from the vaccine, especially to our children. It would suggest they are now merely government puppets.”

Similarly comments have been made charging Ardern with treason and calling for her arrest.

Internationally, other countries are following suit. The Testimonies Project was created in Israel to provide a platform for all those who were affected after getting the Cv vaccines, and to make sure their voices are heard, since they are not heard in the Israeli media.

The End-of-Life Choice Act comes into force on 7 November.  Doctors and their patients can then make use of the new law that allows assisted dying under strict conditions.   

The End-of-Life Choice Society fought for over 40 years to obtain this right for terminally ill New Zealanders and it remains today the only organisation that voices the needs of these patients.   

Doctors have been prepared

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has worked hard to prepare the medical workforce by the deadline date.  It has done exceptionally well, despite also dealing with the Covid-19 outbreak. 

Training for medical practitioners willing to be involved in assisted dying is well underway.  We await the publication of a dedicated 0800 phone number that patients can access for help if they are eligible, but their own doctor is a conscientious objector.   This will be published on the End-of-Life Choice Society website at www.eolc.org.nz as soon as it is to hand. 

Doctors are not allowed to recommend or suggest assisted dying to patients.  Instead, patients must open the conversation by asking their doctor for assisted dying.  Just how to do this is explained on www.eolc.org.nz.   The request must be explicit: e.g. “Doctor, will you assess me for assisted dying?” (In te reo, ask for “awhina mate”).

Responsibilities of conscientious objectors

Even conscientiously objecting doctors have responsibilities under the law.  

If asked for assisted dying, a doctor must tell the patient that they have a conscientious objection and tell them that they have the right to ask the SCENZ group (part of the Ministry of Health) for further information.  This is where the 0800 number comes in. 

Most hospices (but not all) have declared their conscientious objection to assisted dying to preserve their ethos of neither prolonging nor hastening death.   Even so, under the law hospices have a requirement to establish a protocol that will deal with requests for assisted dying without frustrating patients’ access to it.  Patients must be made aware when registering that the hospice is a conscientious objector.

It is a comfort to know that palliative care is available at home and in the community. The MoH expects that most assisted deaths will occur at home or in rest homes with some in DHB hospitals.    

Number opting for assisted dying likely to be very small

How many people will opt for assisted dying?  Due to the strictness of the eligibility criteria and the many safeguards, the Society anticipates that fewer than 1% of deaths in 2022 will be by assisted dying.   New Zealand has about 35,000 deaths each year, so fewer than 350 in the first year; this may increase to 3% in subsequent years.

Of all the vaccines I have taken in my life like Tetanus shots, measles, mumps, polio, meningitis, TB shots, etc… never have I heard so many lies and deceptions over a vaccine that says I have to wear a mask and socially distance even when fully vaccinated, and that I could still contract or spread the virus even after being fully vaccinated.

I’ve never had to get tested when I was perfectly healthy without any symptoms whatsoever.

I’ve never been bribed by the establishment to take the vaccine in order to win a holiday and/or cash prizes or earn frequent flyer points.

I never had to worry about cardiac issues, neurological disorders, blood clots and much more! Didn’t even have to worry about death. Never was I ever threatened by the use of force by the Government, employers, Police force, and Military for a vaccine as is being seen overseas.

I was never judged by my friends or relatives if I didn’t take it. I was never discriminated against for travel or other regular services to a point where I could not buy or sell without it. The vaccines I have listed above never told me I was a bad person for not taking them or for even taking them for that matter. I have never seen a vaccine that threatened the relationship between my family members and/or close friends to a point of destroying my relationships with them ever.

Never have I seen it used for political gain. Never seen a vaccine needing 24/7 mass media advertising and promotion on every media outlet known to man.

Then there’s mixing and matching different vaccine brands and being told it’s okay to do it one day and then told the next day to not do it (overseas).

I have never seen a vaccine threaten someone’s livelihood, as well as wipe out their jobs.

I have never seen a vaccine that allows a 12-year-old child’s consent to supersede their parent’s consent (that one alone blows me away).

Finally, after all the vaccines (jab, shots) I listed above, I have never seen a vaccine like this one that discriminates, divides, and judges a society.

So much information is censored, deleted, and removed from the internet and mainstream media! So many doctors, health care professionals, police and scientists are censored and forbidden to speak out or ask legitimate questions when what is being allowed or not allowed does not make sense! Particularly when it comes from mainstream media.

I have never known a vaccine that has made all the Pharmaceutical companies that manufacture it exempt from liability if it kills everyone to a point where no life insurance will cover it!

This is one powerful vaccine folks! It does all these things above that I have mentioned and yet it does not do the one thing it is supposed to do which is fight off the pandemic — so why on earth would I get it?

It was a great turnout of concerned citizens and media coverage with the protest against Three Waters (a key part of the broader He Puapua plan) last Thursday.

It brought the issue to public fore.

It seemed rather ironic how those who asked for democracy were removed from the building by the Chief Executive (Dougherty) and locked out. 

And then their request for a referendum was refused by Councillors with only Crs Mel Courtney, Trudie Brand, and Tim Skinner voting for a public referendum.

In contrast, a few months ago a criminal group, Extinction Rebellion, who chained the doors, preventing Councillors and staff undertaking democracy, were later embraced by Council — and even offered an apology and cup of tea by the Mayor and Chief Executive. 

Overall, councils do a pretty good job when it comes to drinking water quality and the Jacinda government’s implication that they don’t is simply insulting. Thanks to Nicola Willis MP (National, Wellington based)
