This is a billboard on private land by State Highway 1 in Northland which will be there until Christmas. As well as many hundreds of cars each day, school and InterCity buses pass here. This 80 km/h zoned road carries InterCity passengers travelling from around Northland to Auckland. I understand that the brain has the ability to process between 400-800 written words per minute, suggesting that a few seconds will be sufficient for many of those passing by to be cognizant of the sign’s message if they are interested in reading it.
