There are plenty in the West, particularly those who regard themselves as superior thinkers, who are anxious to demonize Israel and accuse it of warmongering, blathering on about an “inappropriate response” — every time is Israel is the subject — not the instigator — of bloody-minded aggression from totalitarian countries anxious to wipe this tiny democracy off the face of the earth.
We seem to have now abandoned the age of reason and slid into the age of irrationality in regard to so many issues. For example, the absurd nonsense of transgenderism — with its claim that individuals can change their sex simply by declaring this: or that a genuine marriage can exist between of individuals of the same sex, which, although the politicians have predictably declared this lawful in some countries – is also contradicted by that rare commodity, commonsense.

Bill Muehlenberg’s excellent article in defence of Israel is unmissable, containing the reminders of those such as George Orwell, J. R R. Tolkien, Thomas Sowell, Dennis Prage , etc. who have always recognised that, bad as war is, it may well be better than an even worse peace, when so much is at stake.
