A former TVNZ presenter and doctor, Samantha Bailey, has lost her medical registration and been fined after posting videos challenging mainstream covid narratives.
Bailey’s content criticised ‘vaccine’ efficacy and accused the medical industry of manufacturing epidemics for profit, racking up 18 million views along the way.
The Medical Council found her guilty of spreading misleading information after receiving 15 complaints.
Bailey refused to attend her disciplinary hearing, calling the tribunal a “kangaroo court” and claiming being struck off was a “badge of honour.”
She was ordered to pay over $148,000 in legal costs and fined $10,000. The tribunal ruled she had undermined New Zealand’s C response and brought “discredit to the medical profession.”
The Medical Council said doctors must ensure public statements are fact-based and cannot let personal beliefs influence medical advice.
According to journalist Jeremy Wilkinson, “The council has previously made it clear that while individuals have a right to their opinions, there was no place for anti-vaccination messages in professional health practice.”
While some of Bailey’s videos were removed by YouTube, others remain online. The tribunal found her comments fueled distrust in experts leading the pandemic response. Bailey has not practiced medicine since 2021 and cannot reapply for two years.

Meanwhile, government advertisements assured the public they would receive unbiased medical advice. There is no reason to think the Medical Council has any more medical knowledge than the doctors they regulate, since they are not chosen for their knowledge.
Doctors who questioned official policies faced severe sanctions, despite uncertainty over the legal standing of the Council’s directive. A former Council member testified in court that he perceived the organisation’s culture as punitive and closed-minded.
Furthermore, countries like Switzerland, France, Denmark, and Florida reassess covid mRNA ‘vaccines’ due to safety concerns, and thousands of doctors sign the HOPE Accord calling for their suspension, but New Zealand’s Legacy Media remain silent.
The strange thing about this case is that the Doctor wanted to officially leave the profession in 2021 but was stopped from doing so. This meant that a case could be brought against her as a Doctor which is what happened.
The fact that the powers that be lied through their teeth and ruined so many lives does not seem to have had any effect on the case. We truly live in a corrupt political, medical & judicial system. Doctor Sam, please do not not pay a cent towards a case you had no part in initiating. At least 20% of the population are with you.
It really shows how crooked our ‘legal’ system is. The was enough evidence from the first Commission that should have exonerated her, the second Commission with a lot wider mandate should have herr pardoned and compensated, to be paid by the clowns that made up the ‘rules’.
We are indeed fortunate to have people like Samatha who has stood out against tyranny for all our sakes.
What about all the other doctors including those 2000 who were very thorough in taking care of themselves by getting exempted.? Gutless and unethical .

This is an utter travesty of justice! There is plenty of evidence to generate reasonable doubt about how the whole Covid thing was handled. Doctor Samantha Bailey should be given the benefit of the doubt. (Personally, I’m with her 100% .. entirely because I formed my own opinion .. nothing to do with being convinced by Samantha Bailey, or indeed any other medical professional.)
I don’t understand this. Sam Bailey was accused of being a “conspiracy theorist” but most of what she said has been proved to be correct. She should be getting a medal in my opinion. And as for that idiot David Seymour and his “putting the muppets back in their box” comment well words fail me except to say that Seymour is such a liability now I will not be voting ACT again.
Interesting that the NZ government used this ‘expert’ in the case against Dr Bailey.
