None of the diagrams shown are ideal for working, although some time spent regularly in the “C” position could actually be good for mitigating the negative consequences of not having a monitor at eye level which it should be.

Although desk computers have been part of the scene for over 3 decades, it’s the advent of the iPad and smartphones that have had some really bad consequences for body postures, as we commented in an earlier post.

Another important thing to do is take a break from a computer screen for about 10 minutes every hour if possible; if there’s a leafy garden or park nearby, spending that time walking, or just sitting, in it will do wonders for productivity!
