“Good Morning New Zealand and welcome aboard. Sit back and enjoy the ride, tea and coffee will be served shortly, I am your Captain, Winston Peters, and my two apprentice co-pilots are First Officer Chris Luxon and Second Officer David Seymour. I will be taking you all on a interesting trip for about 1.5 years when hopefully the two newbie co-pilots will be still asleep. There may be turbulence ahead so keep your seat belts fastened. Once again, thank you for choosing to fly with Air Winnie.”

Continuing the amusement (at WP’s expense – he has a sense of humour, as I found out sitting next to him on a flight from Wellington to Tauranga; circa 1990); Captain Winnie would make a terrible airline captain – too much of a control freak, dictator, his way-or-the-high-way, does not budge an inch. All served with a little sarcasm, wit, and smugness. Captain Winnie does not suffer fools lightly (msm wake up).
In the positive, I think a good guy, who knows he let the country down terribly in 2017. Let him redeem himself over the next three years. I think he can deliver for the betterment of NEW ZEALAND. After all, he is the “senior with political experience” amongst the other two.
